Privacy Notice

LifeLayout is an early, personal-project MVP for controlled U.S. user testing. It helps someone comparing their current home with one they are considering see how a move would change access to the people, places, and routines that make up their week. The product may change during testing.

LifeLayout does not require you to sign in or create an account, and it does not currently intentionally maintain a permanent database of completed user analyses in its own infrastructure.

While you use LifeLayout, the following information is held temporarily in your browser’s session storage so your inputs persist as you move between screens:

• The current and candidate home addresses you enter, including formatted address text, Google Place IDs, and latitude/longitude
• The lifestyle categories you select
• Each destination you add: name, address, coordinates, Place ID, visit frequency, and importance level
• A cache of the driving distance and duration results Google returned for your selected homes and destinations, and route line geometry for pins you have opened on the map

Session storage is scoped to the current browser tab. Closing the tab clears this data. LifeLayout also provides a “Start over” action that clears this stored data immediately.

LifeLayout uses Google Maps Platform to produce address autocomplete suggestions, to geocode addresses, and to calculate driving distances and routes between the homes and destinations you enter. To do that:

• Text you type into an address field is sent from your browser to Google Places autocomplete along with a session token and your IP address
• Addresses, Place IDs and coordinates you confirm are sent to Google geocoding, Routes, and Route Matrix services through LifeLayout’s server-side routing functions
• The interactive map on the results screen loads the Google Maps JavaScript library in your browser, which may transmit map tile requests and your IP address to Google

Google may process this information — including search terms, IP address, and geographic coordinates — under its own terms. See the Google Privacy Policy and the Google Maps End User Additional Terms of Service.

Some Google Maps requests are routed through LifeLayout’s server-side functions hosted on Lovable’s infrastructure so that API credentials are not exposed in your browser. Operational logs on that infrastructure may temporarily contain request metadata such as HTTP status, error reason codes, and timing. LifeLayout does not intentionally write your entered addresses into those logs, but standard request-error metadata may be recorded briefly for reliability purposes.

LifeLayout uses Lovable’s built-in project analytics on the published site to understand aggregate usage, such as visitors, pageviews, pages viewed, traffic sources, device types, countries, session duration, and bounce rate. LifeLayout does not currently add a separate analytics platform, advertising pixels, or third-party error-monitoring service.

LifeLayout loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which will transmit your IP address to Google as part of loading those font files.

LifeLayout is a personal MVP for testing. It does not sell personal information and it does not share your inputs with third parties other than the Google services described above that are required to produce your results.

If you would prefer not to enter an exact private residential address, you can use a nearby public location — a park, library, transit stop, or intersection — in place of the home address. Your LifeLayout results will still be indicative of the lifestyle change.
